The 2nd fit of the Indian T20 League 2020, witnessed the first-ever super-over of the season. In a table-turning match, Delhi beat Punjab to declare the Super Over and in the end the match. The sport began off with Punjab prevailing the toss and inserting Delhi to bat first who went on to put up a whole of 157 runs on the board. The nail-biting stumble upon was once full of surprises, twists and turns.

Both the groups began off slow, choosing up tempo in the center overs of the match. In a in shape that appeared to be on Delhi's aspect at some point of the preliminary 10 overs of Punjab's inning, witnessed a 180-degree flip with Mayank Agarwal's heroics. Riding on the shoulders of Mayank Agarwal, Punjab managed to draw the game, however Agarwal's wicket at fifth ball of nineteenth over and Jordan's wicket at the ultimate ball led it to a Super over.
